Day 3 - Thursday 9.6.2012

Graphics 1 - Today, we will do the QUICKDRAW exercise.  I will give you 30 seconds to draw the objects I call out.  Make sure to bring something to draw with.  Then, we will look at ROCKPORT LETTERHEADS & LOGO DESIGN 7.  Look at the 200+ logos and you will each choose one to present to the class.  We will talk about FOCAL POINT, AUDIENCE, & STYLE.

Multimedia 1 - Today, we will go over the WRITING AN EFFECTIVE NEWSCAST handout and I will assign your categories for the first NEWSCAST.  You must research a current news story using the format in the handout and prepare for a 15 second radio broadcast.

Graphics 2 - I will review SELECTIONS and DRAWING tools in PHOTOSHOP.  Work on the paper for the SYMBOLS & ICONS project.  Both the paper and pen icon are DUE MONDAY.  Your paper must be submitted via WWW.TURNITIN.COM.  CLASS ID: 4280460 and PASSWORD: nanda.
