Day 33 - Monday 10.29.2012

Graphics 1 - Today, i would like to start taking a look at PHOTOSHOP.  We are going to transition from ILLUSTRATOR, which is a VECTOR based program that excels at creating images from scratch to PHOTOSHOP, which is more adept at manipulating existing images.

Make sure you have a printed copy of the PHOTOSHOP TOOLS Handout and fill in the missing tools by opening PHOTOSHOP and hovering over the tools.  Then, WATCH THE FOLLOWING VIDEO on SELECTIONS and do what is shown.

Graphics 2 - Today, I want you to post your 3 concept sketches for your POSTER on your blog.  Your concepts must have a GRAPHIC, LOGO, & TAGLINE.  Watch the VIDEO from last week's on how to show me your 3 LAYOUT SKETCHES.

Multimedia 1 - Finish recording if you were not able to last week.  Then, edit your Newscast using iMovie.  The requirements for the Newscast are as follows:

• Imovie NEWSCAST:  3 instances of TYPE, 1 PICTURE in PICTURE, 1 CUTAWAY, & underlying MUSIC that does not overpower your voice. 
  TIME: 1-2 minutes.
