Day 31 - Wednesday 10.23.2012

Graphics 1 - All right, so you can make basic SHAPES and GRADIENTS and you can make objects out of TYPE.  So next I want you to learn about making GRADIENT BLENDS and this FIRE TUTORIAL is courtesy of J.M.  For Keyboard SHORTCUTS when you see this "Command/Ctrl" it means CMD for MAC and Ctrl for PC.  You are only required to do steps 1-8. 

ROCKET tutorial needs to be posted on your blog by end of class TODAY.  TYPE ON A PATH project is due by the end of class THURSDAY.

Graphics 2 - Your LOGO for your client MUST be made in ILLUSTRATOR and is DUE on your blog by MONDAY.  Remember, ONLY 4 COLORS even if the real logo has more.  Your paper on the organization is DUE via TURNITIN by the end of class THURSDAY.  Here is the PAPER FORMAT.  If you are done with both assignments, here is a video on how to show me your 3 LAYOUT SKETCHES.



Multimedia 1 - Your next story for your next iMovie NEWSCAST is DUE via TURNITIN by the end of the hour.  Remember to use the proper FORMAT.  Move down one on the list based on the type of story you did last time.  Here is the Hierarchy:  

WORLD NEWS > LOCAL NEWS > MPHS NEWS > SPORTS >
POP CULTURE > ODDITIES.

Tomorrow we will start recording.  Because we have a limited number of headsets.  We can use the STANDBY method.  Say STANDBY, RECORD, Say CLEAR.  If someone is screwing around during your recording, they will FAIL this project.
